Teatro delle Albe is a renowned theatre company based in Ravenna, founded in 1983 by Marco Martinelli, Ermanna Montanari, Luigi Dadina, and Marcella Nonni. The company stands out for its artistic journey that blends experimentation with theatrical tradition, creating a unique stage language recognized both nationally and internationally.

Graphic design: cosmogonies

For Teatro delle Albe’s official website, I developed a graphic design project that visually interprets the essence of the company: a continuous process of creation, transformation, and storytelling.
The concept draws on the idea of cosmogonies: the theatre as a dynamic universe, where each performance represents a new creative act.

Colors, shapes, and geometries evoke the interplay of light and shadow typical of the stage: beams of light emerging from darkness, actors and props illuminated under the spotlight. The graphic design guides the user through a visual experience that mirrors the atmosphere of the theatre, balancing clarity and mystery.

An interactive digital archive

A key element of the project was the development of a large, structured digital archive. Teatro delle Albe preserves an extensive collection of materials, documents, and artifacts gathered over more than forty years of activity.
Thanks to Norma Design, who developed the entire website, we integrated an advanced catalog search system along with two original narrative pathways — Solve and Coagula — which transform the archive into an immersive, virtual exhibition-like experience.
